What they’re saying…

Home health care was ordered for Ms. Haney due to her CHF, back pain and wound care after her hip surgery. As a certified social worker, working for the Texas Department of Human Services she had knowledge of the services available in her community. Physical therapy helped because it was provided in the home as opposed to not receiving any due to her homebound status. “ PT/ INR testing in the home was also provided to monitor her Coumadin levels. What surprised Ms. Haney the most was that she “did not expect to develop such a nice relationship with my nurse. She is always happy, considerate and concerned for my well-being!”

—Sybil Haney

“I was able to relax a little knowing that Wallace was being cared for by a competent, friendly and caring staff” stated Mrs. Jordan. “Life is much easier. I found the information concerning his condition was relayed back to us quickly and I had peace of mind knowing that the nurses were a phone call away.” When asked what they learned about home health care that they did not know before, Mrs. Jordan replied “I was not aware that he was eligible for the home health care benefit under Medicare. It was comforting to know that we were able to develop a friendly relationship with the nurses. Everyone at Angels seemed to take a personal interest in his care. Every one of the nurses who were here cared so much!”

—Wallace Jordan
